Are Autodailers A Good Idea For Network Marketing?

“I would like to cancel my mlm lead subscription,” said the voice on the other end of the phone.

“Is there a problem?” our customer service staffer asked.

“I’m not getting any response calling and I don’t really want to talk to people anyway,” came the reply. “I found a place that where I can get 10,000 leads and load them into an autodailer. It will do all the work. I’m sure I’ll get better results with that.”

Reality however, paints a different picture…

Stop blaming your upline for your lack of success...

Sometimes the best-intentioned advice can kill your business...

I recently talked with a distributor of one of the top 5 biggest network marketing companies about advice he was given regarding growing his business.

The company was telling distributors to make at least one prospecting call a day. If they did that they were told that 30% would join. Naturally, he was excited to get started and figured that all he needed were some leads.

The problem is that this advice is lacking in key details… and we all know the devil is in the details!

Are you a Network Marketing Crusader?

12 years ago a man was heralded as creating a revolution in network marketing. His ads were in major magazines, being mailed via direct mail and even heard on radio around the US.

Hundreds of thousands of people eager to be star network marketers joined the company he promoted and flocked to his “marketing” seminars. There were a lot of testimonials of people who were getting rich and living the life featured in a network marketing company promo videos.

Escape the "Easy" trap...

“If people only knew how hard I work to gain my mastery, it wouldn’t seem so wonderful at all.”

- Michelangelo (1475–1564) Italian painter and sculptor

Too many times I have heard people express their envy at the success or appearant talents of others. “It’s easy for them,” or “I’m not like so and so,” they say as an excuse to why they shouldn’t try as hard.

Google earnings highlight success of PPC

Google announced higher than expected quarterly earnings today - even as growth in paid search slowed.

Google's earnings show that marketers and searchers are finding a mutual benefit in search. Though caution should be exercised on behalf of small budget marketers such as network marketing distributors as the learning curve for running a successful Adwords campaign can often be costly.

Training = Confidence

“A Black Belt is not invincible, but they won’t go down without a fight.”

- Julian Vatke (Age 11, Black Belt)

My son recently earned his Black Belt. As part of the process he had to write a short essay about what a Black Belt means to him. I love this quote because even as others see a Black Belt in an almost mythical superhero light, he recognizes that anyone is vulnerable. Having a Black Belt simply represents years of dedicated training.

What you can learn from our survey results…

In our most recent marketing study, we found an alarming trend - success rates for network marketing are going down.

Now there are plenty of guru’s and trainers that will conjecture as to why this may be and even those who would deny it altogether. But it’s real and we know why it’s happening…

Looking at the data we find tangible clues as to what’s happening.

It's not the Black Belt that's valuable...

It’s easy to underestimate the value of knowledge.

Warren Buffet was asked not too long ago what investments were the most important during this economic recession. His response was that the most important investment you could make was in yourself. Looking at the 48% decline in my mutual fund portfolio since 2001 his point becomes all too clear.

But how often do we take for granted what we know or get lazy in developing our minds?

Are you liable for following bad marketing advice?

What happens when bad advice from a so-called expert lands you in trouble?

Information is easy to come by in the Internet age. That’s both good and bad news for business owners and network marketers.

Around every corner, in every Google search, there’s the promise of another solution to any question we may pose. Some of the information is good, a lot of it isn’t. As a business owner, knowing the difference is your responsibility.

Another version of the truth…

Ever wonder who you can really trust in network marketing?

On Ann Sieg’s “7 Great Lies” website she features a prominent testimonial by Barry Burns – of Life Force fame, stating…

“Finally, after 20 years in the MLM industry, you are the first person I’ve found who isn’t afraid to contradict all of the old, worn-out marketing methods. Of course the truth is those traditional methods never worked for most people anyway”
